- you try not to get attached
- you hope they like you just the same
- you only think about him/her
- you only want to talk to him/her
- you become protective of your boy/girlfriend
- you don’t know how or why it happened, but, you may feel unsure if you should go on being with him/her b/c
- you don’t want to imagine losing him/her
